When you’ve had as good of a broker as Mark, its really hard to find the perfect words to describe the process and experience you had. I was a first time home buyer who was really confused about the process in general. All I knew was I wanted to purchase a house. I was referred to Mark by a friend who absolutely loved his work. Upon first meeting with him he broke everything down step by step and eased quite a bit of the worry I was feeling. I learned so much about the home buying process in just that first meeting. I even brought a friend along for emotional support and she too learned quite a bit of information.
The most important thing that he stressed was to trust him and the process. In my mind I was saying he’s the broker and this is his specialty so that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I felt comfortable enough with him to trust whichever direction he was leading me in. Some real estate agents get into the business solely for the money but Mark truly cares about the individuals he is representing.
As we started the house hunting process I began to get discouraged after a few days because we weren’t finding anything that really caught my eye. Mark never got frustrated with my pickiness, he instead suggested more homes and always kept me in the know about the stats on the homes we were visiting. After about 5 days of looking I suggested a home that was foreclosed and owned by the state. I was a bit reserved because that was a totally different ball game as those are sold AS IS. He looked into the home, warned me about what I could potentially be getting into, and we decided to go take a look. The home was in great condition to say it was repossessed. I fell in love with what I saw and an offer was put in.
Mark worked the magic that only he could and about 3 days later we found out that I won the bid on the house! Trusting him and the process he goes through is absolutely the best thing I could have done in buying a home. I thank my friend constantly for referring me to him as my home buying experience was no where near as stressful as it could have been.
I also chose to work with the bank he suggested and all documents, paperwork, and etc. were always sent to me in a timely manner. Closing day was a breeze because everything I had to sign had already been sent to me to preview in previous days. the expected closing day was my actual closing day because I did everything as asked. Every company he works with is on top of their game.
There is honestly no right words to describe how appreciative I am of Mark and his team. If you’re looking to buy or sell a home he’s definitely the broker to see.
